Medieval Fair

Friday, we took a few hours to head to Norman for the annual Medieval Fair. No small feat since this is one of our busiest times of the year. For years I have wanted to go to it, but usually didn't know when it was being held until it was too late. (This year I have marked on the calendar many of the events I want to make it to, but never seem to remember. Hopefully that will help.) We had a great time with our friends. The boys really love knights and all that goes along with them. I got a little adult conversation in the deal as. There were many vendors selling wooden swords and shields. Some booths were informational, like the one about vikings. You could purchase all sorts of period clothing, and some not so period. Think Keira Knightley as Guinevere. There were a lot of things to see and do and we didn't see or do half of it. I guess that means we'll have to go back next year!
